2024 University of Washington Health Sciences, Martin Luther King Jr. Community Service Award

Dr. Sharon Laing is a nationally recognized faculty member who has expertise in community-engaged and partnered work, specific to cancer control and prevention. She was recently acknowledged for her leadership by the American Public Health Association at the 2023 annual meeting. She has been an active catalyst for equity, diversity, and inclusion at the University of Washington and is a founding advisory board member for the Manning Price Spratlen Center for Anti-Racism and Equity.
